Islandske dage

Everything works out well with the exhibition in the Nordic House – not least thanks to the artists from ARKIR and their effective and deeply professional approach – and good humor.

We have also take out some time to restore a little on some of the works. Paper art is delicate and easily damaged when on tour. However no problems bigger than we can handle with glue, applied color, needle, thread, iron, etc.

Marianne and I’re so lucky to be accommodated in the guest room here in Alvar Aalto’s wonderful Nordic House during our stay. We appreciate very much!

We also find time for little outings to look around, trips out of the city, visiting Svanborg to eat dinner and watch the workshop. And yesterday Bryndis took us to the Blue Lagoon, to soak for several hours in the beautiful turquoise and siliceous, hot water. Truly an experience to be recommended!
